Where Europe is

European regulated commercial verticals — energy switching, travel insurance, eSIM provisioning, flight compensation — are reachable through messaging surfaces today. Each carries specific regulatory obligations, language expectations, and customer-trust requirements that horizontal AI assistants do not address. The vertical workflow is where AI compounds; the messaging surface is the customer’s habit.

Where Seldon is

Seldon Solutions S.L. is a Spanish SME. We are registered in Barcelona, operating on EU-hosted Hetzner infrastructure. We build for Spanish-language commercial markets first, with vertical expertise that maps onto regulated European commerce more broadly as the company grows.

The founder is Michel Rijnbout. The company was built in Barcelona over the last two years around a single operating question: how do we build commercial-grade conversational AI for regulated European markets without building it on infrastructure we do not control?

Our position is not adversarial to WhatsApp; WhatsApp is the fastest commercial channel to reach Spanish customers today. Our position is that conversation logic, customer journey, data controls, and compliance posture should not depend on a single messaging surface controlled by a US gatekeeper under sole-discretion terms.

What we build

Four products on a single vertical-AI core: Cambialeón (Spanish energy switching, live), VoyaChat (travel insurance, live), QuiqSim (travel eSIM provisioning, live), and AirFiasco (EU261 flight compensation, code-complete and launch-ready pending one upstream legal agreement). Each vertical’s compliance lattice is independent. The transport-adapter layer is shared. The conversation engine is shared. Matrix is the first sovereignty-aligned proof anchor we are validating.

Honest disclosures (preserved in public surface)

• Three of four products are live in commercial production. AirFiasco is code-complete, not yet commercially launched.
• Hetzner provides our EU-hosted infrastructure today. This is provider-level posture, not a Seldon sovereignty certification, and not an ENS certification.
• We do not claim Spanish public-sector readiness today. ENS certification under Royal Decree 311/2022 is not in hand.
